Image Uploads (Chat Feature)

·         When you use the image analysis feature, images may be temporarily processed to generate AI responses.

·         Images are not stored in database or long-term storage systems.

·         Images may be transmitted to third-party AI providers (such as OpenAI) solely for the purpose of generating a response.

·         We do not retain or use uploaded images for training or long-term storage.

Basic technical information may be collected, such as:

2. How Information Is Used

Information collected through SparkyPal is used to:

  • Provide AI chat functionality

  • Process calculations

  • Store and sync chat and calculation history

  • Manage user accounts and subscriptions

3. Data Storage and Retention

3.1 Account Data

  • Account and profile information remains associated with your account while it is active.

  • Subscription information is retained for service management and billing purposes.

3.2 Chat and Calculation History

  • Chat conversations and calculation records are stored in the app database.

  • Data remains available until deleted by you or until your account is deleted.

Users can manage conversations and calculations through their profile settings.

 

4. Your Data Controls

Through your profile settings, you can:

  • Access your account information

  • Update or correct your details

  • View chat and calculation history

  • Search conversations

  • Delete individual conversations or calculations

  • Clear all chat and calculation history

  • Export your data (where available)

  • Delete your account

Chat and calculation history is accessible across supported devices when signed into the same account.

 

5. Account and Data Deletion

5.1 Account Deletion

If you choose to delete your account:

  • Account information is removed from active systems

  • Chat history and calculations are deleted

  • Uploaded documents are removed

  • Subscription access ends

Account deletion is permanent.

5.2 Individual Deletion

You may delete individual conversations or calculations at any time through your profile.

 

6. Data Security

SparkyPal uses technical and administrative safeguards designed to protect stored information. These include measures such as:

  • Encryption in transit

  • Secure authentication processes

  • Access controls

  • System monitoring

No system can guarantee absolute security.

 

7. Third-Party Services

SparkyPal uses third-party providers to operate certain features:

  • Supabase – authentication and data storage

  • OpenAI – AI processing

  • RevenueCat – subscription management

These providers process information as part of delivering app functionality.

 

8. Information Sharing

Information is not sold to third parties.

Information may be shared with service providers that support app functionality or where required by applicable laws or lawful requests.

 

9. International Users

SparkyPal is available in multiple regions. Local privacy laws may provide users with rights relating to access, correction, deletion, or control of personal information.
